Go Pistons!
Okay - so every year during the playoffs I have to pick my teams to follow and root for - someday I will be able to follow the Knicks through the playoffs.... but not this year.
I bring up basketball since it is currently very closely tied to my current knitting project.... My sweetheart and I have discovered that my red and turquoise striped honeymoon cami contains some serious Pistons mojo. Normally I get yelled at when I get swept into my knitting during a sporting event (it's not my falut! I love both too much!)... However, during Game 2 of the Pistons Pacers series, I noticed that every time I put my knitting down (whenever it was pointed out I was not paying attention to the game) the Pistons fell off.... Eureka! The blue... The red... It all suddenly became clear! Yes. This cami is the answer to it all.
Of course, this cami must not be finished before the series is over - I am trying to time this juuuust right. Anyhoo, Game 4 is up and I am off to knit for a win. Go Pistons!

My sister and I were on the edge of the couch when they announced the winner.... And we were both cryin by the end of that last song. That was the most emotional, inspirational performance I have ever seen on television..... She deserves this!!! We love you Fantasia!!!!! BOBO!!!!

One more thing!
Go Fantasia!!!!
Rock the socks off that tubby teenybopper!!! I hope everyone voted......
Yes, I am aware that being excited over American Idol makes me lame. But by the end of the show, it's more like a sport to me than a singing competition.

Uno Postarino!
Hola from Stitch stitch land.
Uploaded some pics just now so finally we've got something to look at. Sorry bout that....
Still working on tracking down all my finished projects for a mega photo shoot...... Anyone else have this problem? You make stuff all the time and so rarely does it stay in your own home.... I feel this need to give it all away. I guess it's cathartic. Like the joy lies in the creation, not the practicality after the fact. Or some junk.
Anyhoo.... as soon as I can get some pics taken, I've got a buttload more to upload. In the meantime, enjoy what I've got so far and hang in there - I swear I will make this space look a little more posh given some time (and energy).
Latah.

Aycheewamma!
Okay so I have been a BAD blogger. :( My apologies!!
But today is the first day of the rest of my blog!
I will hopefully be able to upload a good deal of my Finished Object pics into albums this week and get some pics of my WIP's on here!
I am currently working on a couple of things....
Firstly, I am lovingly knitting up the Honeymoon Cami from the latest issue of Knitty in Tahki Cotton Classic - red and turquoise stripes! Yay for love! and stripes! About 40% through that baby....
Secondly, I am working away on a cotton Bottoms Up Bucket Hat (pattern by the fantastic Bonne Marie @ ChicKits!). This one is for my little sis - you can see her artsyness over at Scribble Monster. We collaborated on the design (LOL) the brim shall be green for grass and the crown blue for sky - once the knitting is compleeeet, she'll applique teeny tiny bugs on it! Yeeeee!
sooooooo tiiiiiiiinyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And thirdly - let's be honest this one has been set aside for a little while - is my first ever sock project. I am using a pattern from Knits 'n Bytes for Basic Socks - knitting up in Opal Inspiration sock yarn. Aaaaaaalmost done with my first sock. But it got hot hot hot! I just needed a break from wool. And DPN's. :)
I'll try to pop on later tonight to upload some pics!
