Park It!
Dog park it, that is! We have discovered a new playground for pups nearby and Kyra loooooves it!
The Bune and I took her on Friday afternoon after work and it was a hit! Lots of dogs to make new friends with, a huge field to run around like the little nut that she is, a couple of small trails upon which to hike, and a river to jump in for a nice cool down! I took her back today and she loved it twice as much. I think I'm about to have a new after work routine, folks.

In related news, let's look at how freaking cute my cat Flane is.... We discovered on Tuesday night (when the Scissor Squad meeting poured over to our house because the f'ing coffeeshop decided to close at 9 instead of 10 like we were told they would!) that Flane loooooves babies. Julian was tring to pet him and shocked to discover that Flane did not run and hide like his kitties at home do! In fact, Flane snuggled right up to him, treating him to a few of his trademark headbutts.
That's a goooood boy, Flane!
And oh yeah - I do still knit. Here's my meager progress on Orangina! And Lelah is almost done, too!
**How could I forget???? I was treated to a neat surprise in my mailbox yesterday! The Fall issue of Interweave Knits! I literally did a happy dance in the street. I am SO knitting the Union Square Market Pullover. Who's with me?

I feel that I must knit the Union Square sweater, in spite of the endless amounts of stockinette on #3 needles. Aye! I may jab my eyes out before it's all over.
