Cabled Shrug
Here she is. Fitting a little bigger than when I first made her! (Why is it that when you lose weight, your boobs have to shrink along with everything else? Why can't I pick what parts to shrink? I swear, there had better be some hot shot fancy pants doctor out there dedicating his/her life to this. They'd better have the goods and soon!)
Boobtacular Cabley Shrug
Pattern: Cabled Shrug, by Mary Jane Mucklestone, Interweave Knits Summer 2005
Yarn: Blue Sky Dyed Cotton in Thistle
Needles: US7 and8
Modifications: None, really! Adjusted needle size and that was it!
Comments: Another surprisingly quick and easy project... It's knit in two pices and you use kitchener stitch to seam this puppy up in the back and then just sew up the sleeves. The hardest part for me was finding a pin to act as the front closure!

I like it. I was going to make that for a pal, but the directions sucked to me. I had a hard time understanding them. Maybe I am just a moron. Looks super cute on ya. And I agree, why is it the first place we lose weight is the boobage area? That's the LAST place I want it to leave.

It looks so wonderful. I still can't believe I didn't spot the shrug/you at Rhinebeck. Maybe I should do this one? I love shrugs, and yet, I've knitted not a one this season.

What's funny about this comment here, is that I didn't read the post untill after I commented! So you didn't even have to say you lost weight for me to notice it! And take it from mammoth melon maker over here, I'd kill for smaller boobs! God only knows I'll be rivaling national geographic chicks after bambino #2!~

Personally, I'd rather choose where the weight I lose goes...I'd send my stomach bump to my boob bumps.
