Another Fuzzy Friday
So, I gave soy silk a whirl! Whoo-ee! I like it. I really like it!
Tofutti Break
Fiber: 4oz. Dyed Soysilk from Ellen's 1/2 Pint Farm
Spun into a 2-ply dk weight yarn...
All hail the soy bean! By far, the most useful bean I know. This stuff is sinfully soft and SHINY! I can't wait to get my hands on some more of this stuff. I was a littel intimidated of spinning it, but I had no troubles. It will take me a little while to master, but my first shot is definately knittable!
TOFUTTI BREAK! (Anyone out there have any clue to what I am referring?)

Oh little granola gal -- toffutti comes from soybeans. Sort of like soybean ice cream -- minus the animal product. How are you settling into your new place? How's the great kitty you adopted?

Would that be Tofutti straight out of a carton, or Tofutti Cuties? :)

ohh soy silk is so fun - although at times a little messy, the colorway you have is so purty. I have to buy some more and see how my plant dyes work on it, I've yet to try, but I think it would take dye pretty easily.
