In 1987, I was studying in Manchester, England. We went to see a production of "The Country Wife" done in the round. This beautiful man was the lead! This was shortly after "Sid and Nancy", and I was all a-smitten. I begged the headmaster to arrange backstage passes. No luck! I had to lust from a not-too-distant distance.
