WTF?
I was all ready to sit down tonight and write about my FANTASTIC 30th birthday party, but I don't have the photos yet (Mary and heather played photographer) so that will have to wait one more day.
Instead, let me regale you with the tale of my late afternoon walk.
So, I got home tonight and took Kyra for her constitutional... On our way back to the apartment, I paused across the street to wait for a big ol' pickup truck to pass, so we could cross. Well, all of the sudden, BAM.
Something came flying through the air and hit me square in the forehead. Hard.
I went a little wobbly and very quickly decided that I needed to get me and the pup inside. I got some ice on my noggin and called SteveKam to ask if I should do anything else. He stopped by on his way home from work to check on me. I've got a bump and a nasty headache, but I'll survive.
But, WTF? I thought at first maybe it was a rock kicked up by the pickup speeding by.... But Steve says by the looks of my forehead, it wasn't a rock that hit me... He thinks someone threw something out the window and it hit me. Of course, I was waaaay too spaced out to actually look around to see what the fuck hit me... and now it's dark out.
I see a little scavenger hunt in my future tomorrow morning.
I'd like to make an official plea for the little black cloud over my head to dissipate. Please.

I can't help but giggle. BUT, my initial reaction is always "this is why I'm a pessimist" there are about 99999999 assholes for every decent human on this earth.
