Love is in the Air
SteveKam: I love you.
Me: Oh yeah? Why?
SteveKam: You bring me dinner ... and we sit around making fun of stuff like laxative commercials together. You're great.
So, SteveKam and I are off on a snowy adventure this weekend. We leave in the morning for Maine! Wish us an injury/illness free trip. :)
See ya on Tuesday!

It's All Fun & Games 'Til Somebody Loses an Eyelet
So, this took me way longer than it should have... But, with 6 weeks of intermittent knit sessions and one night of dedicated seaming, the Blue Sky Eyelet Cardigan is done. :)
It was also completed over 6 months ago... and I am only just now photographing it and blogging about it... but that's neither here nor there, people!
Pattern: Blue Sky Alpacas Eyelet Cardigan, Medium
Yarn: Blue Sky Organic Handspun Cotton, 7 skeins
Needles: US7, Addi Turbo circulars
Notions: 4 neato wooden buttons I picked up at A Stitch in Time in Bethel.
Notes: This yarn is really fantastic... so soft and cushy! mmmmm! It was definitely a lighter gauge than the pattern called for, but I really like the way the eyelet pattern turned out in this. The pattern was easy peasy and really should have been pumped out in only a couple of weeks. I blame SteveKam for distracting me from my knitting. (Not that I am complaining.)
