Enjoying Winter While It Lasts...

Ah, snow. It's been absent most of this Winter here in Connecticut and I have been sobbing about it for almost 2 months. Well, we were finally treated to some of the white stuff over the past week and it was kind enough to stick around long enough for a little snowshoe on the AT up in Kent.

The trail ended up being waaaay longer than expected. The road was snowed out, so we had to shoe down to whole dirt road to get to the trail head. :) We were two tired, sore little peeps by the time we made it back to the truck...

Our hike was followed by a tasty little pigout at CaraLee's in town. Yum! I wish every day was Sunday... sigh.
