Sometimes Blogs are Hard Work
Okay, so my comments are acting a little wacky this week. :( Please bear with me as I attempt to get everything back to normal AND keep the spammers at bay.

Welcome to Scissorina!
Well, it's finally done!
Okay... semi-done....
I'm going to keep tweeking here and there, but I think it's good enough to start posting! I'm really happy with the way everything is looking so far - I hope you all like it here! For a gal with zero HTML knowledge before this experience, this took some time... and patience. Hee.
Typepad was an excellent way to start out - I would reccommend the service to any new blogger. Fan-freakin-tastic! After about 16 months with that site, though... I was ready to tackle Movable Type!

Start Your Search Engines
So, I head into Typepad's main site today to check out my viewer stats and take a look at referring pages, as I often do... and a certain Google search catches my eye...
Now, I must preface this with the fact that I am used to seeing the following Google searches which result in a visitor's stop by my site:
boob (by FAR the most common!)
boob covers
McBoob
These are all thanks to the bikini I knit my buddy Joda what seems like forever ago... I called her Joda McBoob and showed some lovely pics of her fabulous boob covers. I could have put a stop to it.... I could have changed the name... But whatever. I did warn her though, that her boobs and their covers would be posted and that SURELY this would be the top attraction of my blog!
But I digress...
What I found today SHOCKED me! It was a Google search for:
Sarah McNally Knitting*
My God. No boobs? No covers? Just me and my silly ol' yarn?
Awww. (sniffle.) I feel a little misty.
So, if you are out there Google searcher, reveal yourself! For you are the first person (besides me) to look me up on Google and visit my site! I'll give you a gold star or some junk....
*This was also quite amusing to me since my sisters Mary and Heather have both recently taken to Googling the names of former elementary school chums to see what the heck ever happened to 'em. Perhaps someone is playing the same game? I hope you're not a hater, whoever you are.

Random Musing
Okay, I don't have a theme right now so I'M WINGIN' IT! ;)
Fellow scissorina Michelle posted directions on making homemade knitting needles on The Hat City Scissor Squad blog! Go check it out - I am so inspired! These would make awesome gifts for knitting friends!
And check out my lady Christine's newest creation - a sexay little tank top which happens to be my namesake! I'm blushing, girl! Christine is an amazing knitter and an up and coming designer to boot! She is also my sounding board and the girl who gets to hear me virtually vent over email. :) Props to you my friend! And thanks - for using my name in yer knitting and for being a great knitting bud! Yet another job well done. All Hail Christine! My favorite Boozehag!

Uno Postarino!
Hola from Stitch stitch land.
Uploaded some pics just now so finally we've got something to look at. Sorry bout that....
Still working on tracking down all my finished projects for a mega photo shoot...... Anyone else have this problem? You make stuff all the time and so rarely does it stay in your own home.... I feel this need to give it all away. I guess it's cathartic. Like the joy lies in the creation, not the practicality after the fact. Or some junk.
Anyhoo.... as soon as I can get some pics taken, I've got a buttload more to upload. In the meantime, enjoy what I've got so far and hang in there - I swear I will make this space look a little more posh given some time (and energy).
